MICRONEEDLING AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Pre-procedure (optional for quicker recovery):
When you schedule your treatment - please come in to purchase Alastin Skin "Nectar" Regenerative or ask to have the product shipped to your home. Nectar should be used 10 days (AM & PM) prior to your procedure.
**This will be paid for separately than your actual treatment.
Immediately After Procedure (optional for quicker recovery):
Alastin Skin Nectar Regenerative will be applied to your skin immediately
after your treatment by your cosmetic provider.
Post-Care:
First 24 hours following treatment: Microchannels created by the microneedling procedure remain open for about 24 hours post procedure.
- Only cleanse skin with cool water and pat dry. No scrubbing or picking during the duration of the healing and skin rejuvenation process.
- No exercise, saunas, or anything that causes perspiration.
- Avoid sun exposure
- No icing the treatment area, ibuprofen or any other form of anti inflammatory medications or topicals. Tylenol and antihistamines can be taken.
- Optional for quicker recovery: Alastin Skin Nectar Regenerative can be applied directly to the skin every 3 to 5 hours (you will continue this product for 10 days post-procedure) to assist in the healing process.
Day 2 & 3 following treatment:
- Use gentle cleansers and moisturizers only.
- Mineral sunscreen should be used daily regardless of sun exposure.
- Regular activity can be resumed.
- No icing the treatment area, ibuprofen or any other form of anti inflammatory medications or topicals
- Optional for quicker recovery: return to Alastin Skin Nectar Regenerative AM & PM only on day 3.
