Post-Care for the first 24 hours:
- Only cleanse skin with cool water and pat dry. No scrubbing or picking during the duration of the healing and skin rejuvenation process
- No exercise, saunas, sauna-like showers or anything that causes perspiration.
- Avoid sun exposure
- No makeup
The week following treatment:
- Use gentle cleansers and moisturizers only, except for Alastin Skin Nectar.
- Recommended for quicker recovery: Alastin Skin Nectar can be applied directly to the skin 2-3 times per day (you will continue this product for 7-10 days post- procedure) to assist in the healing process.
- Avoid sun exposure.
- Mineral sunscreen should be used daily regardless of sun exposure.
- Regular activity can be resumed
- No icing the treatment area, ibuprofen or any other form of anti inflammatory medications or topicals. Tylenol and antihistamines can be taken.
- Tiny crusts can form, Please do not pick at them and scrub them off.
- The treated area should be kept as hydrated as possible for the first week. You should have a constant "glazed" appearance until the area is healed.
- If you have pets, keep them away from your face and your pillow
- No sunless tanner should be applied, before or during the duration of treatment series
