Warts are small, harmless growths that appear most frequently on the hands and feet. Sometimes they look flat and smooth, and other times they have a dome-shaped or cauliflower-like appearance. They occur in people of all ages and can spread from person-to-person and from one part of the body to another. Caused by different forms of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), warts are benign (noncancerous) and generally painless. There are many different methods available to treat a wart using freezing, burning, medicine, cutting, lasers or chemical peels. Warts can be embarrassing, but our team can help you remove them safely and permanently when you visit our office.
